I recently stayed at the Leeuwin Apartments in Margaret River with 5 other adults and one child. We had seen pictures of the colourful townhouses online, and were pleasantly surprised when driving into the complex to see that they were every bit as bright and well-kept as the photographs depicted.
The interior of the house was large and modern. The downstairs living area accommodated the 6 of us comfortably, for both meals and time spent relaxing on the lounge.
Should we have not felt the need for company, the bedroom continued with the modern, crisp décor, with excellent facilities: flat screen TV with Foxtel, alarm clocks, spacious wardrobes, very comfortable beds – arranged to suit a either a couple or twin share.
Just about anything you could think of to bring along on a family holiday with the family was included. From cooking utensils, pots & pans, to movies, CD players & games - even an electronic game of Sudoku!
As the weather was a little colder at the time of our stay, I did not get a chance to take a dip in the pool – and did not care to brave the chilly aftermath of the jacuzzi! However both looked well maintained and would certainly suit a summer holiday.
Only a 10 -15 minute walk to the main street for restaurants’/shops, or an easy 2 minute drive if you’re not up to the walk.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in the Margaret River area. The price was very reasonable, especially if splitting the bill with a full house. Brooke Stone, as always, have been a pleasure dealing with – ensuring a hassle free stay and great accommodation.
